  • Perfect your form, develop valuable teaching skills and tap into your potential as an instructor. This one-day workshop will give you practicable tools to move forward with confidence and success.

TOPICS INCLUDED IN THIS WORKSHOP

  • Teaching skills
    Verbal cuing, imagery, transitions and classroom tips to help you teach a smooth class from start to finish.

  • Essentrics Aging Backwards market
    Everything you need to know to safely teach this class, including how to modify our existing PCWs to cater to this group.

  • Positioning
    How to execute and demonstrate the exercises in PCW1, as well as how to correct common mistakes and apply modifications in a group setting.

  • Musicality
    How to use your playlist to create a workout experience. We’ll use different songs and genres to practice pacing, intensity and keeping the beat.

  • Techniques
    How to use them to drive home different objectives.

  • Pre-Choreographed Workouts (PCW’s)
    Tips on learning new routines, the importance of sticking to them, in addition to when and how to switch them up.

  • Barre / chair work
    Gain confidence and experience with this piece of equipment so you can easily learn our barre PCWs to expand your clientele and take advantage of opportunities (a must for the Aging Backwards clientele).

  • Preparing for your exam
    Tips for success to apply to any Level of training.
