However, we recommend that you pass all levels to become a fully certified instructor as there is a great deal of knowledge to learn in the additional levels. The additional knowledge will help you to become a more competent and successful instructor. To become a fully certified instructor there are three additional levels to pass! Levels 2 to 4 will cover the following material: Level 2) trademark exercises, sequences and transitions, level 3) deep stretching and therapeutic exercises, and level 4) strengthening and body shaping.
After becoming a Certified Essentrics Group Fitness Instructor you will be qualified to create your own workouts! However, we do recommend that instructors continue using the pre-choreographed routines in order to keep updated on all the latest trademark exercises as well as help you guarantee an original, creative and well-balanced class.
All instructors will have their name posted on our website identifying their level of completion and active certification status. To maintain your certification status you must purchase a minimum of two pre-choreographed routines or attend one workshop annually.

Pre-Choreographed routines:
Each pre-choreographed routine comes in a package which includes a DVD and a handbook that will provide all the necessary information an instructor needs to learn a routine. The DVD is broken into two sections; the first section is a one-hour class and the second section is a detailed analysis of each exercise contained in your pre-choreographed workout. This includes techniques, objectives and muscle groups, plus transitions, corrections, most common mistakes and a detailed description of ‘how-to-do’ every movement. The package also includes a photographed handbook containing routine-breakdowns; detailing muscles groups, techniques & objectives for each exercise
The pre-choreographed workouts ensure that you offer your students creative, original and well balanced classes.

Essentrics Personal Training Certification and
Essentrics for Athletes Certification
This intensive workshop is offered to Certified Essentrics Group Fitness Instructors only. This practical workshop will show you how to analyze an individual’s level of flexibility and the overall mechanical health of their body. In it, we will discuss key indicators of common imbalances in the body and current and future health issues that could arise from these imbalances. We show how to effectively use Essentrics in treating back pain, knee pain, sciatica and other common non-medically caused aches and pains. Using all the knowledge gained in levels 1 to 4, you will learn how to create a targeted program for your private clients.
In addition we will show you how to analyze individual and group sports athletes and teach you how to structure programs targeted at all ages and levels of athletes. The following will be covered; injury healing and prevention, warm ups, cool downs and performance enhancement techniques. You will learn how to sequence exercises in a variety of different combinations for optimal results for both athletes and personal training clients. Sequencing and class lay-outs can vary greatly according to the age, health and ultimate goal of your clients. A high-performance athlete training for a major event needs a different sequence of exercises than a beginner athlete . A healthy adult needs a different sequence of exercises from someone recovering from illness or injury.
